OYS Table Quiz 2013

The 2013 Oblate Youth Service Table Quiz took place this year on Thursday, October 17th in the Duke Pub, Duke Street, Dublin 2 and proved to be a very entertaining evening with over 30 people participating both OYS and non OYS members. Donal Lane filled the boots as quiz master for the evening and kept the crowd in good spirits throughout the event. The quiz was a great chance to catch up with friends after a week together in Lourdes in September.

Lourdes Pilgrimage 2013

The Oblate Provincial has announced the New Director of the Oblate Youth Service, he is Fr. John McFadden, OMI and is appointed for three years. John is serving the Oblate Mission in Leith, Edinburgh and will be meeting the OYS Executive in the new year to familiarize himself with the role and begin his ministry among the members of the Oblate Youth Service. We welcome John and wish him every blessing in his ministry.

OYS Bake Sale, June 30th, 2013

The second annual Oblate Youth Service Bake Sale took place on Sunday, June 30th and was a great success with over €600 being raised on the day. A massive thank you to the fifteen OYS members who helped out on the day or contributed to the sale by utilizing their baking talents.
