New Director of Oblate Youth Service

Dave O' Donnell describes the 2014 Oblate Pilgrimage to Lourdes which proved to be another successful and enjoyable week for the 80 Oblate Youth Service members who traveled to help with the sick, between September 15th - September 23rd.
OYS Lourdes Catch-Up Afternoon
Members of the Oblate Youth Service who travelled with the group for the first time in September 2014, were invited to a catch up afternoon session which was hosted by Joe Gilligan and Ger O' Halloran on Saturday, February 21st.
OYS Music Night, Threadway Live
The Oblate Youth Service held a music fundraiser on Friday, May 2nd, 2014. The event held in Sweeney Mongrels was headlined by Dublin band Threadway with Andy Connolly on Vocals and Guitar, Andy Feely on drums, Donal Lane on Vocals and Bass Guitar and John Henneberry on Guitar.
New Director of Oblate Youth Service
The Oblate Provincial has announced the New Director of the Oblate Youth Service, he is Fr. John McFadden, OMI and is appointed for three years. John is serving the Oblate Mission in Leith, Edinburgh and will be meeting the OYS Executive in the new year to familiarize himself with the role and begin his ministry among the members of the Oblate Youth Service. We welcome John and wish him every blessing in his ministry.
