New project: Guest visiting programme |

Following on from the guest
reunion on the 24th February and from an idea tabled last year, we
are going to set up a Guest Visiting Programme and do it soon. In order
to do so there will be a short meeting on Sunday 9th March at 6pm
in the Oblate House at Mary Immaculate Parish in Inchicore about the project.
The basic concept is that in order for this to a
successful and sustainable project, it will have to start small and gradually
expand. Each person will be assigned to a team which in turn will visit a
‘cluster’ of guests, be it a nursing home or whatever. This means that
there would be a decent group in each team heading out to a visit with no-one
being left out or visiting alone.
Regardless of whether you are going to Lourdes this year or not
we need as many OYS members to join in and help out. At the very least
try and make the meeting if you’re interested. Please get back to us at
