Well the Guest Reunion last Sunday (24th Feb) was a storming success, we had over 105 Guests there from past and present trips to Lourdes and the feedback has been unreal with everyone really enjoying themselves. The day started with the ‘guests’ arriving at the Oblate hall in Inchicore for 1pm for Mass which was celebrated by Fr Willie Fitzpatrick, Fr Vincent and Peter, the music was sung by the folk choir of St Michael’s led by their leader Ann.

After the mass there was a short walk to the Grotto and while this was happening the hall was being prepared for the afternoons activities. On return to the hall people sat with their friends in groups around the tables and from which everyone got involved with a friendly game of bingo which was followed by well received refreshments to prepare for the rest of the afternoon. This was a time of singing led by Fr Paul Bryne who managed without too much difficulty to get the whole group singing and invited those who wanted to, to sing solo and entertain all present, the music was led greatly in the background by Paul and Patrick in their normal great way.

At 5pm it was time to say goodbye to each other and to prepare to travel back home, at this point it would be very important to thank our friends in the Knights of Malta who provided transport to those of our guests who would not have been able to attend if it was not for them.
